Breathing Grid

Breathing Grid is built from a delicate wire weave that bends and ripples like a ribcage in motion, holding the memory of an invisible body. Over this metallic lattice, a translucent organza layer is painted with soft geometric rhythms, creating a second, atmospheric skin between drawing and landscape.
The two layers are stitched together at key points with small knots and green accents, suggesting sprouts of new life pushing through a structural frame. The work evokes a terrain in transformation, where lines of containment begin to loosen and make room for organic growth, healing, and breath.
